Students and teachers are faced with many influences when it comes to using different types of technology within the classroom. Teachers specifically are faced with different types of learners that have different backgrounds and learning abilities that can affect the type of technology that they use in the classroom to aid the students in their learning. Due to the diversity found within the classroom, not every student has access to technology outside of the classroom so they are faced with their own issues when it comes to finding access to more help that can be provided through an assigned website by the teacher. All of these factors influence the degree in which technology can be incorporated into the classrooms teachings.
   A standard that is meaningful to me is included within the Teacher standards. The standard is to Facilitate and inspire student learning and creativity. This standard explains that a teacher should use their knowledge to incorporate technology into each lesson in a creative way that allows students to learn the material in a way that is easy to understand and interactive so that students are retaining the information. A standard that is outside of my current skill set is also included within the Teacher standards. The standard shows that teachers should engage in professional growth and leadership as it pertains to technology. I think as technology continues to change, as a teacher I am going to have to continue to change the way in which I incorporate technology into my own classroom so that my students can continue to be successful which will also allow me to engage in my own personal growth and a professional and in my leadership skills.
   Digital Native is an accurate label for those considered a "digital native". I agree with this label for those individuals that were born in a digital era. Digital natives are those kids, teens, and young adults that were born during an age of technology, each individual knows how to use a computer, social media website, and other pieces of technology unlike individuals before their time that did not have access to these resources.
